How many potholes did you manage to avoid today? It’s sadly a sign of the poor state of our roads that we see them and try to avoid them, each time we venture out on a journey.

Every so often the Government announces that money has been found to repair the worst holes but it’s never enough to do them all so we carry on swerving to avoid those that are left. If we can’t swerve in time then we end up making a claim against the local council or Highways for damage to the car or in the worst case scenario, fork out from our own pocket for the repairs.

Earlier this year the RAC put together a tongue in cheek guide to Britain’s potholes. Take a look and see how many you have encountered recently.
